Partner With TBTG: Cloud and Network Engineers
Serious Technical Work. Referred to You Directly.
You've put in the time to earn your certifications and build your skills. Finding clients who understand the value of what you do — and are willing to pay for it — is a different kind of work entirely.
TBTG is a technology consultation firm based in Birmingham, AL. We serve small and mid-size businesses that need real technical infrastructure: cloud migrations, network design and build-out, ongoing managed support, security configurations. When a project calls for an engineer, we refer it to a partner we trust. That partner does the technical work. TBTG manages the client relationship.
If you're an experienced cloud or network professional looking for consistent project referrals without doing your own business development, this is worth your attention.
How the Partnership Works
TBTG scopes the engagement with the client and brings in the right technical partner to execute. The project runs under the TBTG brand. You deliver the work, bill your standard rate, and TBTG receives 20% of the total invoice as a referral fee. You receive the remaining 80%.
Before any engagement begins, TBTG initiates a formal referral agreement. The terms are clear, the relationship is documented, and everyone knows their role.
What you get:
-
Technical project referrals matched to your actual skill set and certifications
-
No client prospecting, proposal writing, or sales calls on your end
-
A formal partnership structure with defined terms — not informal handshakes
-
TBTG handles client expectations; you own the technical execution
What TBTG Looks For in a Technical Partner
We only refer engineers we are confident in. Clients come to TBTG because they trust our judgment, and that trust extends to every partner we recommend. Technical competence is the floor — not the ceiling.
We look for engineers who:
-
Hold industry-recognized certifications (CompTIA, AWS, Cisco, Microsoft, or equivalent)
-
Have documented experience with real-world client deployments, not just lab environments
-
Communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders — clients who hire TBTG are not always technically fluent
-
Can work remotely, on-site, or both depending on project requirements
